Homeworks: What about this house made you decide it was “the one”?
Molly: This open area and the big, bright windows in the living room. And having the space in the basement—which ended up being more space than we needed, but it’s still nice to have, especially in the summer.
Hw: What project are you most proud of?
Molly: I think the front yard because it took us so long and we did it piece by piece, so it just looked unfinished for years. I’m surprised none of our neighbors ever said anything!
Hw: What will you miss the most about this home?
Jordan: Just how it’s all come together. I really like the kitchen. It’s funny, the big mirror we put against the wall, it’s just nice because when you’re in the kitchen you can see [into the living room], and so if our dogs are hanging out, or if Molly’s hanging out in here, it’s nice that you chat while you’re chopping. But the stools there in the kitchen just make it such an inviting place to be cooking and for people to hang.
