Last year proved once again that the real estate industry in Salt Lake City—although resilient—continues to experience unpredictability. Things remained competitive, demand was steady, and housing inventory was still a bit more limited than we'd like. And while home prices stabilized a bit (especially in comparison to years prior), affordability in our city is still a concern, particularly for first-time home buyers, and we had some very real uncertainty arise as a direct result of the NAR settlement.
Our local market is also supported by strong job growth and a growing population, making us relatively resilient compared to other U.S. markets. Throughout it all, the Homeworks team did everything we could to help our clients sell or find and purchase their dream homes in 2024, and all told, we'd say it was a banner year!
