Between the three, you're set for comfort diner food, granola and bagel sandwiches, or an affordable, delicious brunch (respectively). The new Frankie & Essl’s also offers savory breakfast sandwich, or you can head to Loki Coffee on 900 S. for a tasty cup and a pastry in a very cute space. Nona—sister restaurant to Nono pizzareria—sits unassumingly in the backyard of a bungalow with string lights, plenty of foliage, and options for both outdoor and indoor, rustic dining. Retail-wise, the Maven District has an eclectic mix of old and new businesses. The recently relocated, iconic Heavy Metal Shop is just across the street from legendary Randy’s Records. There’s also Mineral and Matter, Normal Ice Cream, Passion Flour (a vegan French patisserie), and La Barba Coffee & Breakfast Tacos, among other shops. Which is to say, properties closer to Liberty Park or with easier access to public transportation and local amenities will probably command higher prices than those that are further away or could use a bit of work. Still, compared to some other central Salt Lake areas, Liberty Wells remains a relatively affordable option for those seeking a charming, historic home in a convenient and lively location. For those interested in multi-unit living, there are condos and town homes available, the prices for which will typically range from around $200k to $400k, depending on factors like size, location, and amenities. Single-family homes in the area are primarily bungalow variations, though other architectural styles are also present in the form of some modern homes and new builds. Buyers can expect to find homes priced somewhere between $450k and $750k or so, with some larger or more recently renovated properties potentially reaching higher price points.
