As agents who are daily "in the field"—whether it's writing contracts, showing properties, negotiating prices, or hosting open houses—it's easy to assume that everyone is privy to the many fine points and shifting variables of what we do.
The Salt Lake real estate market sees new data every week, so each month, we'll give you a look at a few relevant stats for Salt Lake County and Park City. We're just here to get you invested, informed, and (hopefully) in the home that's meant for you.
Salt Lake County Real Estate Market Update, Mar. 2024
Summary: A bit of good weather and the usual Spring surge in new listings and home sales means numbers are on the rise (except, of course, for average days on market, which has gone down). As with February, average sales prices in Salt Lake County are once again up, and we've seen a 14% increase in the number of new listings.
Park City Real Estate Market Update, Mar. 2024
Summary: Park City numbers aren't too different from those we saw in February, with a couple of exceptions: the average days on market saw a pretty steep drop (from 113), and the average sales price went down by about 14%. As always, it's good to bear in mind the relatively small sample sizes.
